Trout 3
TROUT: Originally introduced to Australia, trout are a freshwater fish popular with local anglers, and now widespread throughout much of south eastern Australia. Usually caught by fly fishing, trout are a challenge to catch and good fighters. Hand carved from Australian native hardwoods by Paul Buckland.

AUSTRALIAN BASS: An iconic, highly predatory native fish, and one of Australia’s most outstanding sports fish. Extremely popular with local anglers, Australian bass are strong, and fight hard. Although rare, they are most prolifically found in remote freshwater streams on the Sapphire Coast. Hand carved from Australian native hardwoods by Paul Buckland.

SEAHORSE: Timid and beautiful, seahorses are often found clinging by their tails to the seagrass at Bar Beach, Merimbula. Seahorses are masters of camouflage and can quickly change colour to suit their environment, making them hard to spot, unless you know where to look.
