HUMPBACK WHALE: A protected migratory whale seen from May to July and September to October on the Sapphire Coast of NSW. Humpback whales have a prominent history in the area, having once been the target of the Davidson Whaling Station in Eden. Eden now celebrates the Humpback whale season with the Eden Whale Festival taking place in October each year. Hand carved from Australian native hardwoods by Paul Buckland.
